Stub Axel Spacers, need help?

Default Stub Axel Spacers, need help?
I'm installing stub axels in my 76 Volkswagon bug IRS suspension. I was told I need spacers for the axels, can anyone please tell me where they go. Thanks

they go between the axel and the trans, like a throttle body spacer...where you bolt the axle to the trans you slip the spacers in between basicly to make axle longer...
