lowering 2 inches?
 
Im am getting ready to lower my 04 VW Jetta 2 inches and was wondering if anyone has done this. I have a fair idea of how to do this, but anyone knows some things i should wacth out for or some time saving techniques then please reply. thanks.

Whatever you do, do not cut your springs, it's very dangerous, so just spend the money for a proper suspension package.

hope you have access to the air tools for compressing those springs...
lol it'll be a chore doing it by hand, but can be done...

if you lower 2in or more you might have to get a new sway bar the stock one does not accomodate for the lower ride height. i know that is how it is in the gti's

i have some springs FS: from vogtland they retal for 205.99 and i sale them for 179.99 plus shipping

Get a coil compressor and definitely get a guide to take you through the steps of removing the old.

if not

"you'll shoot your eye out" literally

make sure to do you research before taking on this project.
