Hey i am new to the VW sence and i was looking at this 92 or 94 VW passatt the guys asking 5 grand for it...

He told me he had 10 grand into the motor...

It has a stock VR6 with a copper head gasket with a turbo not sure what kind of turbo greddy i think he said possibly...

full muffelers pipes and such... with upgraded axels stock trany... he said its pushing 400 HP

Is this possible with a stock motor with just a turbo and exghast



also as racing sways bars and some kenwood speakers...

If the turbo i a greddy turbo odds are it's not running 400 hp, i would be weary of why he is selling it
it might be getting ready to BLOW up

haggle him down 1500

 

Test drive the car for a bit, it's the only sure way to know what's wrong. You'll know if it feels like 400HP.

 

yeah, i agree with ndenn002, who knows whats going on with that car interally and if he did his mods right, could be ready to blow and he'd never tell you
