So check this out!!! Last night I get a call from my buddy who says that a film team is here filming for a movie about street racing. Anyways, I was the only VW there!! I represented for all of us!! SO, the producer has me sign a waiver, and I'm on my way. The camera man has a camera right by my car and then goes over to the other car. He has us start talking **** and he's like "come on, let's race!! You suck, let's race" I was like "come on let's do this! Your car is bummy, get it off the line!!" So the camera guy tells us when he has the girl drop her arms, race like it's real, like the camera crew isn't there. We only did 1/8th mile pulls, maybe a little longer, but it wasn't a full 1/4. They had cameras setup along the road it was sweet! SO, as soon as the camera guy says "ACTION" the girl raises her hands, we rev up, and we're off. I wasted this guy!! I squaked through first, chirped when I shifted to 2nd, and finally hooked up midway through 2nd gear and shifted to 3rd when the finish line came up. Like I said it was just over 1/8th mile track. Regardless, I smoked him off the line and had a car length and a 1/2 pull on him the whole time! It was great!! This all took place in Roy, Utah, right out side of Salt Lake City, it was a blast! They told me that they would call me when the movie is complete, and I would get a copy. Great bunch of people that were out there!!

Yea really! My friend's step-mom is an extra in movies, like she has 20 second parts in different main stream movies. So she told my buddy and his cousin is also into the racing scene, so them 2 got together and then it all went about that way. If my friend wouldn't have told me about it and he just went I would've never known!

 

shoul have brought my 88 fox with the studded snows on it cold have had a good spark show going on it burns them halfway into 2nd gear if i get them wet
