Epic VW Rabbit road trip across USA
 

Hey,

Thought anyone with an older model VW might be interested in this story. I met a guy in New York and we drove his 1981 VW Rabbit pickup to Oregon. It was supposed to take 5 days. It took 6 weeks. Along the way we replaced a head gasket, radiator, alternator and a window.
