Hello, nobody answered my question about proper forum part to ask this question (i asked in my hello post) so i will try here. I hope it's good category - if not - maybe it is possible to move my post to proper place.

Anyway, i want to ask about a car for 18th years old boy. My son is having 18th birthday in january, and i want to buy him a reliable used car.

I have Jetta, i enjoy it very much and thought about Golf for my son. It's economic, reliable car as i see it.
I want to ask the young part of this forum community: would you like this car for 18th birthday? Is it "cool" enough?

i hope to get some advices from you. maybe some other car would you like to get? i think of a car in good shape that i can buy for less than 10k.
