Vintage Volkswagen New Beetle Model Car – Pullback Toy
 

Toy model of the VW New Beetle, introduced in 1997. Like its predecessor, the New Beetle has an appealingly quirky shape, bulging fenders, a rounded roofline, and vestigial running boards. This model is finished in a vivid chrome yellow and features doors that open, molded seats, and a toolbox visible through the back window. It is a pullback toy, which has an internal spring that is wound by pulling the vehicle backwards. When you let the car go, the spring propels it forward. Whether scooting along the floor in motion or parked on a shelf, this little model is a memento of VW's long line of popular "people's cars." Contact for more photos and details.
