Toy model of the VW New Beetle, introduced in 1997. Like its predecessor, the New Beetle has an appealingly quirky shape, bulging fenders, a rounded roofline, and vestigial running boards. This model is finished in a vivid chrome yellow and features doors that open, molded seats, and a toolbox visible through the back window. It is a pullback toy, which has an internal spring that is wound by pulling the vehicle backwards. When you let the car go, the spring propels it forward.
