I have a friend that just lost the timing belt on her VW Golf. She brought it to the local VW guy and he said he would do it along with the water pump and belt tensioner. Well he went to start it back up after finishing the work and wouldn't you know it, there is no compression in the cylinders. The car has new brakes all the way around, new wheel bearings plus the parts he just put on the motor. Well I guess if anyone wants a vw to convert to a race car or just slap a motor in it to drive daily send me a pm. Oh yeah originaly a salvage title. Also the price is $2300 because that is what she owes on it.
