So disappointed as new VW owner

2020 Atlas across Sport SE 2.0T 2WD

i am so disappointed this far.

So far I have made about 5 dealer trips.

1. passenger rear side door latch came off. Went once. They fixed. Came off again. Went twice they fixed came off again. Had to take it back a third time.

2. In between all this my remote start stopped working. They said it was the door issue. This happened the second time I brought it in.

3. SOS function going haywire telling me to stop driving and get to dealer. What the heck. They said TSB on This has to order part and SOS module was replaced.

4. Saw Door latch lose again. Called customer service. Service manager called me back. Brought the vehicle again. finally seems they actually did a good gob. At same time my remotes would no longer open doors via convenience open. Would work pressing buttons. Another 2 days of service. They gave me a Jetta rental. I don’t want no stinking Jetta I bought an Atlas Cross Sport.

5. Now I will be going back. My front suspension has always made a rattling/bouncing noice. I finally got annoyed and started researching. Seems it’s a known issue with sway bars or something.

i am beyond annoyed and so dissatisfied and disappointed with buying VW right now. So much more expensive than other brands for all this hassle.

is this common? Are you all satisfied with so many issue. I honestly have owned Honda, Toyota, Chevy, Acura, and even Ford and have never ever had so many issues with any new car purchase.

I did review my contract recently and realized that I was charged for the “warranty” about $1300. Not optional service contract. Says “WARRANTY” like the 6 year WARRANTY THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED. But was charged for it. Just saw that!?!?!
