Atlas Premium SEL Awful Breaking Sounds
 

Hi All:

I've owned my 2021.5 Atlas for about a year and the breaks are awful. I am so tired of hearing that squeal and crashing sound then the proximity sensors going off, then i turn off the sensors. The dealer says its a known issue but there is nothing they can do. Is that true? Should i replace the breaks, would that help? I can't believe the material would make this sound, i am scared to wake up our neighbors 6 am in the morning when i am leaving somewhere, sometimes i try not to break and it becomes a safety issue. Once the breaks warm up the issue goes away but if you're on the freeway for a while the breaks cool then its back again. Its super annoying and disappointing. Any suggestions on how to fix this or how to deal with the dealer for a solution?
