Hello I am wanting to put a 1.7 gas engine from a 82 rabbit to a a 1.5 diesel rabbit pickup. What are my options. I do not want want to run FI which the 82 has because of fuel considerations. Any ideas. I am looking for more perfromance out of the 1.7. Specifically, intake manifoldand carb options for the 1.7. Ids there anything else I need to know about the conversion? Ignition, fuel,mounts, tranny?
