Default jetta vr6 turbo

just wondering if ne one knows; do they make turbos for a 2000 jetta glx (vr6 engine)? what else could i do to increase the horsepower? im constantly meeting up with this guys who has a 1.8t & id like to get a good lead on him since we keep tying. appreciate the help! thanx!

Basically Almost everything you do To the engine is HP, Turbo, Intake, BOV.. Ect, ect

BOV's DO NOT ADD HORSEPOWER AND NEVER WILL. If your looking for reasonable price mods go with pulleys, exhaust, and a chip, (If your going to run forced induction your going to need an exhaust and most likely a chip too) so you may want to get those out of the way first, and they are useally good for quite a bit of hp and tourqe.

yea, they make turbos for just about every make and model, including the vr6, the only problem, other than installation, is the $3000 price tag for a turbo kit. but if you dont want to break the bank, you could just get a nos kit for about $300-400 and as long as you dont use it daily it wont negativly effect your car and you can still drive normal. or you could alway get bolts ons like a cold air intake but that wouldnt be very noticable especially untill you get a few bolt ons.

Hopefully one of those has what you are looking for..i try searching racepages.com,,they offer good products and service there..i just bought a brand new Pitman Arm,, and im so satisfied with it..im planning to buy an new turbo for my vw..
