ok ive got several friends ive talked to tonight they drive neon srt4 s i have a jetta gls 1.8T i asked how can i obtain maxium boost from my stock turbo they said to pinch or cover the hose connected from the waste gate is this a wise idea ? pls help me asap before i mess something up

 

yes that can increase your max boost, but probably not a good idea as we're not sure of how the ecu will fuel the engine.

let alone how high it will increase your boost too...

You'd be best off with a boost 'T' which is adjustable, a boost guage, and slot it on the dyno to see what the fuel ratios do.
