What is the MIL light?

Default What is the MIL light?
I have a 2002 Passat and the MIL light is on. What does this mean? I don't have owners manual.

hmmm...i dont know this one...perhaps give a dealership a call, and talk to a service writer, and just ask them, they might tell you...
