Does anyone have experience taking a car to Europe? I love my 2012 Tiguan and would like to take it, but am afraid it may be cost prohibitive. Shipping costs are ok, but I'm worried about the cost of required modifications (I've got someone who would install the mods here without labor cost, but would need help confirming that I've done everything required). Are there kits I can order? Also, the cost od the emission test is a concern. I understand that they are quite expensive if your car is the first of its kind to be tested. Is there a way I can find out in advance if mine is the first and what the cost should be?


I've listed it for sale, but I hate to let it go.
