Hi, my name is Scott and I purchased a 2001 VW Golf in Nov 2002. I paid for a new remote to open and lock my vehicle. This last Saturday the remote still worked when i got in the vehiclle and when I parked it at work 15 min later it stopped. I bought two new cr 1620 3v batteries for it and I cannot get the remote to work. Does anybody have any idea why the remote won't work with 2 new batteries in it. The original batteries were panasonic and the new ones are energizers. If anyone has any suggestions I would welcome any ideas. Thanks.
