Please tell us your car spec in your signature
Hi guys.
I read alot of threads on here that just say Golf or Jetta with a problem if your lucky usually there are posted in the correct sub forum.
It would be more informative if you wrote your basic car spec in your signature, if you know the engine code that would be a bonus, see below.
How to find your engine code.
Every VAG car made has an Options sticker which is in the service book. If you don't have the service book the other half of that sticker in on the boot floor next to the spare wheel well. Some engine codes are on a label stuck to the timing belt cover.
This one is BWA 147kw engine.
The VIN number is at the top then the model code underneath. Then the model and engine code and at the end is the transmission code JLW. Then the paint code LB9A. Then the rest are p-codes.
If you want to know what all the Options codes mean type them into VW/Audi/Seat/Škoda Option Codes Decoder
Thanks for you co-operation.
Signature update:
To edit your signature click on User CP (Control Panel) on the left of the bar up above. On the left it says Edit Your Details click on it and type in the Location: Where you live then click Save Changes at the bottom.
The on the left you will see Edit Signature just click on it and type in your vehicle details. You can click Preview Signature just to see what it looks like then click Save Signature, job done.

Oh your other posts have been removed as you just quote what was said without any further explanation so I think your trying to be a quiet spammer. I'm watching you.

Welcome to the forum.
Don't post it in a reply put it in your signature then its seen on every post you make.
It amazes me if you can't follow simple instructions how the hell do you expect to repair your car?
