Hey all the newbies, welcome aboard the forums, Have a great stay here and an awesome time as well.

 

The only Volkswagen I have ever owned was a 914 which was VW powered. Great car. Now in my 07 MINI S, I am ready to make the leap to the new R and I will hot on January 8 to dive in. I am very excited about this! To have a car basically the size of my Cooper with approx 100 more HP will be the BOMB!
This will be my third blue car in a row. I had an 05 GTO with a mighty LS2 which had shorty headers, lingenfelter intake and Magniflow exhaust and was dyno tuned.....fast but too big! My Cooper has Borla exhaust, is lowered and has intake upgrades. Very quick car but the new R will be a perfect replacement.
Glad to be onboard here, this will be a great adventure!
