Hi. My name is Daniel. I'm new to this forum and new to the Volkswagen Performance. I own a 1988 VW Golf 1.8lt. I am looking to build a performance show car. In my area most people show and run Honda's and well I'd like to bring a new eye to the scene and run a Volkswagen into the mix. I'm looking for any ideas anyone might have on performance. I've had ideas thrown to me such as a bored and stroke 1.8 or even a vr6. The biggest idea I've been thinking is the Corrado's 1.8lt Supercharged from 1990. I'm not familiar with which vehicles are front wheel drive or rear wheel and the best combinations of engines and transmissions. Any knowledge anyone may have would be a great help.
