New to VW... can anyone help me?
 

Hi there,
new to VW's, new to diesels.... picked up a manual 2013 Jetta TDI and having issues with startup. One out of 5 or 6 start ups it'll just crank and crank and crank then oil pressure light comes on and then everything goes off. It doesn't turn over, so I'll turn off the ignition and try again which then it will start. I've used both key fobs, new batteries multiple times, checked oil, and even had a mechanic check the tune from the previous owner but they said they couldn't find anything. Is this a deeper issue with the key fobs? Glowplugs? Any suggestions will be appreciated. - Jill
