New to the Vee Dub world
 

Hey whats up I just bought a 2000 Jetta. Dont plan on doing too much to it just lowering, rims, and a small system but hopefully I learn a thing or 2 about it here. On a normal day Im a v8 guy but I got such a good deal on this car I couldnt pass it up. 40 mpg is feeling pretty sweet right now haha. Ive also got a lowered 98 F-150an 85 Iroc that I put a motor in and **** and a CBR 900rr.

how do you like the jetta?

How long have you had it for, cause i was thinkin of getting a jetta, but wasnt sure how good/ reliable it is.

Ive only had it for like 2 weeks now but its not insured yet so im not driving it yet.

Congrats on the Jetta! I have to laugh at the comment about not planning on doing much to it. =) It doesn't last long! I was a v-8 muscle car guy myself... and owned a Suzuki 1200cc crotch rocket that I love, and bought the Jetta cause all my buddies told me I couldn't make the Jetta a "non-chick" car. Now I'm styling around with a car that the v-8-ers even look at and compliment me on. I love the car! Reliable, fun, easy to upgrade, semi-reasonable gas mileage even after upgrades..... You're going to get hooked!

yea I know I always do lol. My F-150 was suposed to be the daily driver till I painted it and slammed it. Now the Jetta is the daily for the daily lol. I just cant leave **** alone.
