Hey everyone, never thought i'd join a VW forum, but that ALL changed a few months ago.

EDIT: I currently drive an '05 Cobalt SS/SC (236whp, 228 tq)

I used to work at a Car dealership with all different companies on one lot (Toyota, Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler, and Subaru).
Our recession-proof owners decided to buy out a nearby Mazda/Volkswagen dealership, and start moving all of the cars onto our lot. Seeing as I was a porter, I had a big hand in this.

I got to drive brand new CCs, Tiguans, Tauregs, Beetles, Passats, Jettas, the Golf R (2 of em, actually ). Prior to this, the Wrx was probably the car I was going to purchase. But now, I can't stop thinking about VW


Seriously, that Golf R was one of the most fun cars I think i've driven while working there. It was comparable to an STI. All of the Deisels were comfortable and fun, and I couldn't get enough.

So here I am, joining you guys to learn more about the cars, and see if I can't own one of my own one day.

PS - I had to drive multiple CCs off of the Delivery truck almost 25 miles to our dealership. For anyone who doesn't know, they are stuck in Transport mode until flashed by the dealer, and are limited to 25mph... lol
