Hello all...
Back in the 'fold' so-to-speak. Earned my DL in a 73 bus many, many years ago... Purchased a used 04 Jetta GL for my youngest to drive over this past weekend. 36K on the odometer, appears to be a well-kept car - I'll have a knowledgeable mechanic take a look at it by this weekend...
I'll spend a lot of time lurking and searching old posts (good boy! - pat, pat....)
Real quickly though - I need to replace the the MXV4's that currently pound the pavement. Any suggestions for a 'normally' driven (teenage girl / mom / dad) Jetta of this vintage? How about the Yokohoma YK420 or 520? Discount has these for $80~ ea.
Don't plan any upgrades, but would be nice to get my hands on a set of the factory alloys rather than the steelies and hubcaps *shudder*
TIA ~~~~~~~
Rick
