My name is Emily. I have been looking for a VW pickup with a diesel engine for a couple of years and finally found one. It is in good condition, but was sitting for a couple of years, so I am looking forward to getting back on the road. I live in the panhandle of Texas. Most people around here didn't even know these existed and haven't ever seen one. It's too bad VW quit selling the pickups over here and providing the diesel option, there are many who have seen mine and want one.

Anyway, I am a fairly decent shade-tree mechanic, but I hoping some of you more experienced guys can help me through the rough patches! I have been lurking for a while and have really enjoyed reading the posts and seeing pics of everyone's VWs.
