Been drag racing/putzing with cars ALL my life.
Worked for 40 years as a line tech for Ford. Went into working on airplanes for a while. Now, just putzing away my days, waiting to retire.
I've had so many cars in my lifetime, I won't even bother, boring you with those.
I got into VW a couple of years back. Was trading in my 97 F150, (didn't need it for hauling my previous race car any longer), and was looking
for something to mess around with, and with BETTER gas mileage!
Stumbled upon a 2002 vw beetle. (red, of course). Bought it. Started throwing money/mods at it instantly. Trans went out. 3+ grand later. Trans worked.
Either way, last May, Mother Nature took its *** out. Totaled the bug. That same day, on carsoup.com, I found my NOW, 2013 vw beetle turbo.
Been throwing money/mods at it ever since.
Absolutely LOVE this car. Making it faster, month by month.

Oh yeah, my hobbies n such.
I teach martial arts. I ride motorcycle. I'm married/41 years. (didnt' say happily)............Have 2 beautiful children. 3 even more beautiful, grandchildren.
Other then that, not much to say. Love my BUG!!!!!
