Hey Y'all!
I just joined up , I owned VW's many years ago, a 64, a 70, and I think a 67. That was about 25 years ago, so I forgot most of what I learned! I have a 1970 Beetle and now a 1974 Super Beetle I just bought.
The previous owner of the 74 Super tried to brag about the Super being an orange car, claiming it was "special"!!! Is there any truth to that?
I hope to maybe convert the 70 to full electric, if that's not being sacreligious! Ya got to realize, it sat for years, and is badly rotted so it's more of a resurrection of what otherwise would have been a car sent to the baler instead of driven! I hope it doesn't offend anybody!!!! I plan on driving the 74 Super and dressing it up as I can.
