Hello everyone,

First time poster here. I have always wanted to restore an old Beetle and I am finally starting the proccess by looking for a car.

Like many others (at least I would think) my interest in the older Beetles came from watching the Herbie movies when I was growing up.

At any rate, I look forward to chatting with y'all.

BTW, my screen name comes way back from my 5th grade science class. We had boys VS girls competetions on science quizzes. If you got a 100% you got a point for your "team". I was always good at science so the teacher gave me the nickname "The Ace" and it just always stuck. I also enjoy playing poker as well so it has application there as well.

welcome to the site, good luck in the search for a restorer... i wish i could do that, but i want an old ghia or a notchback
