I've recently purchased an 87 Jetta and have been swapping parts into her from my not so happy 86 Jetta. I'm a fan of the "old school" VWs (mk2s) and not so much of the newer ones. I had a 95 golf (didn't like it at all) and a 93 Jetta (also thought it was [:'(]).
I do alot of my own work on my Jettas and will likely spend most of my time here in the technical forums.
Hoping to learn from other mk2 owners and might even be able to help out as well.
