So, tomorrow I will be picking up my 2007 VW Fahrenheit GTI in orange! So, I figured I might as well get on a forum to share my pleasure!

I have been in love with German cars ever since my dad got his '97 318i back in 2000. But, I have to say that was a pretty crappy representation of a German car. And, last week I was about to purchase a 2004 BMW 325i, but it turned out to have $2000 in repairs and the guy wouldn't drop the price from $10,000 to $8,000. So, then we started to look around and the VW dealership in my area had the Fahrenheit in stock, and I knew I wasn't supposed to get the bimmer!

I am so pumped, I really can't wait to pick it up tomorrow, sleeping is going to be hard! I think the best part was looking at my dad's face after he test drove it, he drives a 2009 BMW 750i, and was genuinely surprised. He thought the Hyundai Genesis was the best 4-cylinder vehicle, he was quickly disproved.

I think my three favorite things about the car are: the color, Tiptronic transmission, and the overall German-style, indestructible frame.
