I am restoring a 2001 VW New Beetle Coupe. The car was basically abandoned. The interior was filthy with dirt, grease marks and cracked plastic all over the place. The body paint is faded and noticeably cracked in places. The car is in desperate need of TLC and then some. The engine, however is in really decent shape. The car has 123,000 miles and responds quite nimbly on the road. Surprisingly, has decent power on the road. This project is quite a challenge for me since I am not a mechanic, but with forum members help, Youtube and Bentley manual I can do it.
