Default Fuel delivery, or lack of

power surge, or lack of, at any speed, it feels like the fuel pumps power is cut in half, this lasts about 1 second, & this happens every 5 to 7 seconds.

I dont think that the OEM fuel pump can keep up with the thirsty needs of the power plant, A friend of mine sugjested a fuel resevor in the engine bay and installing a Audi 5000 fuel pump would be the fix.

This is a Brand new dealer fuel pump.

Any thoughts

Just upgrade to a higher flow rated fuel pump. I wouldn't bother going through any excess modifications to feed this beast. Just get a better fuel pump rated for what you're running (engine).

if the car is stock, the stock fuel pump should be adequate...

I don't think they meant stock though, sounds like a bigger engine was put in or something.
