We recently purchased a 1974 beetle in excellent condition and a curious about it's history. For instance my father thinks it may be a limited edition because it has no chrome on it, the bumpers and etc are black, why is this? And I understand the colors where originally called funky names like "Plum Crazy", ours is lemon/lime green what was it orginally called? Anybody know?
