Ex minitrucker who wants to drag his Jetta
Saying what's up to all the VW people out there. I'm getting into the Jetta scene now after draggin' my s10 for a few years. Here's a pic or two of my old ride. The Jetta will be shaved, bagged and dragged soon!!

RE: Ex minitrucker who wants to drag his Jetta
not a great deal unfortunately, i just started paying student loans along with a new apartment and car payment. Not to mention the little odds and ends to pay for like insurance and utilities. So basically im kind of hanging back for a little while to make sure ill be safe to put money into it with everything else, plus my warranty prevents me from going to terribly far.
but i have an intake on it, a new lip cause i didnt want an entire body kit, and im about to buy more open intake piping, drop springs, shocks, and a full sway kit. When i get promoted, the first step will be an APR 3" turbo-back exhaust and a chip from either neuspeed or APR. i got a lot of plans, just slowly working on making them happen. |

That sounds good man, at least you have things in order. I hear you about the "slow" part. Took me about 5 months to bag my truck when I had it. Where do you go to find aftermarket parts? I know where to go for truck parts, now I need to learn where to go for the car. I've got a lot of plans as well, and it's also going to take me some time.

yeah, finding new sites is a hassle when you change vehicles like that.
i use search engines a lot searching for new ones but a few of my most recent favorites were performancecafe.com, awe-tuning.com, speedoptions.com, extremedimensions.com and grounddynamics.com are more for body, neuspeed and APR are good, conceptdub.com, and we cant forget the all important EBAY. i like performance cafe a lot, they have some good deals, a full sway kit for about 350 shipped. they also have a lot of options on a lot of parts. if nothing else, search engines are dieing to throw you at a site or eight good luck |
