Awd aww swap

Hello everyone and thank you in advance.
I am completely new to newer VW so be gentle.
I just bought an 01 jetta with the aww 1.8t. High miles and noisy engine. I made a new guy mistake and bought an awd 1.8t. Good fairly low mile engine and I got it for a good price.
Question is what all do I have to do to make the awd engine work? I have done some looking around and it seems like it do able but no single forum has giving all the answer. I find one or two things and then another page says something else. If I could get all the answers and maybe a lttle how to info it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Attachment 2382

Both those engine codes AWW & AWD are the same power output 150PS. If they are physically the same they may swap straight over.

from what I have read so far the turbo is different and the aww has vvt. Not sure what else but also not sure how to swap the vvt over to the awd
