Hi, I am new to the Forum, I have a 98 VW GTI 2.0 L with a Gas engine. When I turn on the left or right turning signal with the head lights on, all the lights in the rear flash (tail light, brake light, turn signal and brake light above hatch). The turning signals work normally when the head lights are not on. What would cause this problem and how do I fix it?

It normally a bad earth on the lights.
