94 jetta rebuild
 

hey everybody im rebuilding a 94 2.0 jetta i just tore the block down yesterday and has very minimal wear the cross hatching is still in the cylinder walls from factory which is amazing for 183,000 miles on the can and motor has never been replaced. however i am having some issues finding parts as i had a problem with the oil light with oil used for 1500 miles when i ran the car at 2000 rpms the oil light would flash and beep at me until i reved it higher. does anybody know what would cause this and how to find hard to find parts as i am replacing pretty much everything engine wise but vw dealer is way too expensive. thank you for your time
