is a 2007 EOS motor compatible w/ a 2008 GTI motor/ECM?
 

i put a 2007 (BPY) 2,0T EOS motor in a 2008( BPY) GTI. will it be compatible/ do I need a 2007 EOS ECM to control it? Will it??

i swapped a 20007 EOS motor with a 2008 GTI. will it be compatible? or new ECM?

Swapping engines maybe physically ok but there are different coding in ecu's. The BPY is used in 19 different VAG models e.g.
