Greetings all! Just found my way here. I'm one of thise guys that was NEVER gonna' own one a 'dem foriegn cars. Then the realization that most newer US made (mostly Mexico made) cars are just disposable crap. That and gas getting rediculous pushed me to look at imports. My first VW was a 97 Jetta GT (2.0 5sp) that I owned for 4 years and added 120,000 miles to it...235,000 when I traded it in on my 2001 GLS (another 2.0 5sp). I just may be a Vee Dub owner for life now! Once I hit 200,000 on this one, I might be looking at a GTI mk4.
