does any know a good german exhaust? im new the vw thing

I put a cat-back exhaust on my 2000 vr6 and it's deep and throaty sounding....no good way to say that...but neways, it has a deep sound now, and ive noticed a lil increase in performance, I looked at book and said that particular cat-back exhaust gave an extra 18 horse or so, and like 15 lbs of torque, can't remember off hand...it's worth a try if you know someone who has a shop

 

I think GHL is the best...I've install a few different ones..and driven VR6 with different exhausts...nice fit, great sounding, and wonderful pull

 

I was told by a more knowledgable source than myself that the best exhaust for a VW is APR, and this guy knows exhaust. he has an STI and a saab 9-something or other, both with 3 inch turbo back sounding amazing, and he claims they help the perf too.
so.. im going to believe that and someday drop about a grand on a three inch turbo back, im pretty sure APR has exhaust for the VR too.
