I just got a 2002 Jetta GLX vr6 and im looking to put a Exhaust system on it but i dont want it to sound like a ricer any suggestions and how much does it usally cost?

 

I have a Magnaflow and it sounds real beefy! Good system could cost a couple hundred bucks.

 

get headers with it if your looking for the most hp for your money

 

I have never been able to find header for my 2000 VR6 GLS!!!!! unless of course I want the EBAY special for $100 and no name I've heard of! Any one ever find headers for type of car.

 

magnaflow sounds classy but also has some raceing qualities to it.....In idle it is pretty quiet....dont forget to get a downpipe!!! lol

 

Unless he's turbo'd his Vr6, He doesn't need a down pipe. Headers are on N/A cars.Down pipes are on turbo'd cars

I know theres alot of exhaust on the market for the mk4 jettas like awetuning, greddy, magnaflow, borla, neuspeed, but sometime there a little hard on the wallet, i deleted the resonator on my 24v and put a ebay twin tip exhaust on it and new piping, loved the sound and feels better on accel and torquier. here are some vids and pics of my car.

I plan on turboing it though but dunno how long before I do it. I may just get the header for now and when I get it turbod I can just sell it.
