Wipers won't stop
 

So I've got two related problems. One is that when the wipers stoprunning & go to their park position, the wiper relay ticks and the wiperslook as though they are starting to move, then don't, they sort of twitch. The second is that the wipers run slowly (without being switched on)and the high beam light on the dash comes on, the day time running lights are dim and the blinker indicators come on faintly. The wipers won't run properly if you switch them on or run the washer, and won't stop emediately when you shut the car off. Needless to say I drove about 30 miles w/ the wipers slowly working until the problem stopped & the lights worked again (good thing it was almost dark).

So the only thing I can find to stop the issue is the big relay under the dash. I pull that & everything is happy again, excpet the wipers don't work.

Do I replace the relay or just suck it up & take it to the dealer and let them replace parts until it runs?

Anyone else ever had a similar problem?
