Default Wiper Blades

Can anyone tell me where I can pick up wiper blades for a 2003 passat?
These are the one piece euroblade that the dlr is asking over $80 for the pair--ouch!
Are there any refill replacements that will fit or can be retrofitted on to the wipers?

I am also looking for another source for blades for my 2003 Passat wagon. I just googled the part number "3B1955426" (imprinted on one of the blades) and had some interesting results.

There were only 7 hits all of which are Russian car dealers who post part numbers and price (530 rouple -- $19US).

My question is: why are the Russians the only ones to post part numbers? Does VW discourage their dealerships from publishing part numbers so people won't be able to do what I did and save money by buying elsewhere?

And the obvious question has anyone found a less expensive source for Euroblades?

concerning euro blades, if one is patient a standard genuine wiper refill can be fitted to a euroblade. take a close look and have a play and you will find it will save you a packet. good luck

If the car is under warranty the dealer will replace the blades for free. At least, they did for me.

I'm sure eveyone has figured this out, but its all changed since 2004. The wiper blades are readily available now. Check out trico neoforms or trico techs...you won't be sorry. Neoforms are around $14-$17 each and the Techs are $11-$13 each.

One thing - make sure you use the wiper application guides to get the right part numbers. Length is only one part of the equation - there's different attachments too. You can also look this stuff up online. Try searching "lookup wiper size" or something like that. You'll be good to go!
