Why Should You Buy Winter Tires?

With winter starts everyone should change car’s “shoes”. But does everybody know what are the advantages of such kind of tires as against summer ones? Is it so necessary? Buying new tires always presupposes superfluous spending of money, doesn’t it?

There are two types of winter tires: studded tire and non-studded tire (studded tire is restricted in some countries).
Studded tire has special construction of tread that make fastening of tire stud more solid and robust.
Conical diagonal tread pattern grooves prevent from snow pickup to the tire.
Each winter tire has wider tread that’s why coupling properties take a turn for the better. And as a result steer ability is improved.
Besides winter tires have double cord carcass made from special fiber.

While exploitation all these peculiarities assist to better collapse of water film, absorb and accumulate residual water particles. In the issue we have unsurpassed coupling on wet ice.

Do remember that the choice of snow tire should be substantial and should be done before the first light frosts and snow. It’s recommended to swap summer tires for winter ones when the temperature is seven degrees above zero.
Any tire is a compromise. It doesn’t make sence that the tire behaves it equally on the race circuit or in deep snow.
Only winter tires are intended to cope with low temperature, snow and ice.
