I understand VW is engineered and built in Germany and the final assembly is in Mexico for most. . . but what models are soley built in Germany and are the Wolfsburg editions actually built in Germany as they advertise or are they built in Mexico too?? If they Wolfsburgs are built in Wolfsburg Germany, are they of better quality??

 

Well, hello there. This is a very good question. I have a 2002 VW Jetta and mine I believe was built in Mexico. The jetta's I believe are built in either Mexico or Argentina. The Passat's are made in Germany. As for the Woulfsburg, I'm assuming<<<----(This is bad) they are made in Germany.
