vw catalytic converter extended warranty
 

I posted this under the volkswagen jettaforum but thought I'd do it here, also,to see if I would get anymore feedback. Our 1999 Jetta needed a cat converter. Found out that it had a 120,000 miles warranty extension. Called vw and they told me to mail in PRINTED receipt and they would evaluate it.Could not be in writing. Sounds like they are really strict about it.Wondering if anyone else had ever mailed in their receipt and gotten paid for it. I don't understand what has to be evaluated since our car was one affected by the warranty extension. Just curious. Thanks
