I'm considering putting a hitch on my 2002 beetle. It has a 2 litre engine. Short term occasional hauling only.....we have two quads on a 400 lb.. trailer that I'll need to haul maybe once or twice a year, basically a flat surface.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments? I'd sure appreciate it!~

It will do it but it will strat to ware on the car. So try and do it like 2 times a year like you said and you will be fine.

 

shouldnt be a problem at all, thats not a lot of weight. she can handle it
