I have a friend that races his VW rabbit car. He was telling me about a swap you could do to make a rabbit 4wd. He said that you needed a Syncro Bus tranny and rear diff setup.
this is all he said about the parts that you needed.

I figured that you guys might know what he is talking about.

Is a syncro bus that only thing that you can use the parts out of?

Will the parts out of a 1987 VW Quantum Syncro wagon work?

Is this a bolt on swap?

sorry i dont know about that but do you know if there's a difference between 85 and 83 rabbits? will a newer engine fit in an 83?
