slight miss
I have a 2005 Jetta, I have 118,000 miles on it, and at 60-65 miles an hour I notice a slight hesitation in the engine. I have had the car on a scanner several times, but no one can figure it out. New spark plugs and air filter were recently installed.

Well it will depend on which scanner was used the best one is VCDS.
Can you post any error codes retrieved from that scan?

Hi Keith, my boyfriend used a scan tool he got from Snap On Tools. The code is a P1281 coolant temperature performance sensor which has been replaced. We plan on replacing the timing belt, water belt, and thermostat soon. I have a 2005 Jetta, with a 2.0 SOHC, with 118,000 miles on it. The engine code is BEV, and automatic transmission.
