Radio Code for 99 Beetle
 
I have a 02 Chipped 1.8T Jetta, but my moms has a 99 Beetle. Somehow she got the radio all messed up (maintenance at a non-VW dealership) and she needs the code to unlock the radio....she doesn't have the manual either. Any suggestions? Will my information/code work for her?

I guess ur jetta code will be of no help. Find who in your town has the same car model and radio model and see if they can help. Good luck.

look in the trunk next to the spare tire
paint code and radio code are on a white sticker

Any chance this would be the same for a 99 Golf? If so what numbers on the sticker should I be looking for ?

a four didget number
sometimes they work and sometimes not
